Our Mission
WOLOHO stands for WORK, LOVE & HOME: fulfilling work, people who care, and a home where you feel good.
Big city life can feel pretty lonely, and that’s exactly where we come in. Every week, we read every listing ourselves and send your Letter to your inbox without any rush, from your next career move to the right person at the right time to your dream apartment. This has already sparked dream jobs, studios and teams, shared flats, friendships, bands, and even families. People helping each other, that’s what we’re here for.
It all began with noodles
Back in 2005, our founder Reza invited friends to his kitchen table for pasta once a month, and before long, creative minds were helping each other out with apartments and job leads. Reza collected everything and sent it around as a newsletter, back then still called Sherlock Homes and Watson Berlin.
In 2013, this became WOLOHO, joined by a third Letter for love and for everything that connects people beyond jobs and apartments. Today we are more than 80,000 WOLOHOs worldwide, still growing through word of mouth alone. By now, listings reach us not only from Germany but from all over the world, helping more and more people, which makes us very happy.
Our team
Rana
Rana is Reza’s sister and has been on board since 2019. She firmly believes that real togetherness is possible, and that conviction runs through everything she does here. Her paths through advertising, events, hospitality, and spirituality gave her an eye for people that can’t be taught.
Reza
Reza founded WOLOHO and holds it together to this day. By day he writes and directs animated films and games, but WOLOHO has stayed his passion project. Helping others simply makes him happy. His motto: All is good now.
Gus
Gus is Reza’s Tollerdoodle, a mix of poodle and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. He keeps Reza awake, in good spirits, and reliably wrapped around his paw. No one at WOLOHO has escaped his charm yet.
Mia
Mia is Rana’s Labrador, and anyone who meets her understands right away why she’s part of the team. Her good mood is contagious, her nature loving through and through. She brings warmth into every room and makes sure someone is always smiling.
